Tito Media is one of Australia's biggest photography agencies and image library supplying both local and International newspapers and magazines.
Ask pretty much any photographer if they can help you with your event photography, strategy and ideas, and the answer will probably be yes. Come to think of it, these days you could probably ask anyone you meet that owns a camera and they’re likely to be a "photographer" and have a photography page on Facebook with 50 fans.
Im a professional photographer. Working between Sydney, and Noosa on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Hopefully this page will tell you all you need to know about us and more. To start with, I work with a small group of refreshingly enthusiastic staff at Tito Media – a mix of talented photographers, digital artists and creative production team. We’ve been around for a while (15y) and in my humble opinion we do what we do pretty well.
We’ve got some relatively large clients & international brand names that we’ve been working with for a while. And lots of new smaller ones seeking our work. We specialise in photography. It's not a hobby, or something we do after our day job, or just on the weekends. We do this full time. Its our profession.
Rather than being just OK in a variety of “ways”, we’ve chosen to focus on being experts in just one - Media photography.
Go back 5 or 6 years, we used to dabble in a bit of everything from weddings, to landscapes, even underwater photography. We paid many thousands of dollars to be fully certified blah blah accredited blah blah consultants of this and that. A few of our photography products became quite popular, but we realised the variety of services we provided was too wide and our approach really wasn’t cutting it. The team was under heavy workload. It became more expensive to compete against in so many fields and more complex to maintain so many skill levels. We weren’t offering all these different products out of a conscious choice. Somehow it had just become that way depending on what our clients were requesting.
So we stopped, thought about what we wanted, and changed tack. We had a careful look around at how other photographers were working and the quality of services they provided, and what kind of techniques were being used to make really big, really interesting, stunning photography.
We ended up choosing Media photography, as it suits the kind of stuff we like to do (spoiler alert: we all really like what we do). Not only does it help us make highly dynamic and beautiful photography, it also has a lot of really well thought out creativity baked in.
We’re pretty experienced. We’ve been doing this for a while, and have quite a bit of experience in unusual assignments, tricky lighting, difficult subjects, bad weather, and photoshop editing.
We’re always learning and improving the way we do stuff, but along the way we’ve had a chance to deal with lots of different problems and situations, and can be done again and again flawlessly.
We've been the official photographer at Miss World, Fashion Week, Paris Hilton, etc etc and work for big brand names like Cartier, Vogue, Foxtel etc etc, but we are still hired and enjoy small jobs like a birthday party or function with the locals.
